Product Description

HPMC is used in the textile industry as thickener, dispersant, binder, excipient, oil-resistant coating, filler, emulsifier and stabilizer. Also widely used in synthetic resin, petrochemical, ceramics, paper, leather, medicine, food and cosmetics and other industries.
Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose can play the following roles: emulsifier, thickener, suspension agent and animal gelatin substitutes. Its codex alimentarius code (E code) is E464.
